Modder creates first-person multiplayer in Cities: Skylines

Cities Skylines mod WeirdGamer

A modder, who goes by the name Fr0sZ, published a video on YouTube of a Cities: Skylines mod in which you can play a first person multiplayer. He adds, “A first look at my multiplayer mod. Now I just need to figure out what to do with it.”

As you can see in the video, you play Cities: Skylines with an avatar and you walk around with first person view. Now that is nothing special, since there were mods for that already. But Fr0sZ goes a step further and adds a multiplayer aspect to Cities: Skylines.

What to do with this Cities: Skylines mod?

Fr0sZ himself isn’t sure what the possibilities are. He has idea in which, “you have two teams that play against each other. Where the first teams goal is to destroy as much of the city as possible, while avoiding the other team. And each player looks like a normal citizen so they can blend in with the crowd to hide when the other team comes looking for them.”

He also posted this mod to the Cities: Skylines subreddit, and asks what other Redditors would like to see happen. When asked what his favorite contribution was, he replied, “There were so many good ideas from Redditors, but my favorites was probably having a DayZ mod in the game or the one where you are a normal citizen doing what the citizen do in the game.”

To make all this happen isn’t even that hard, he said. It was the enormous freedom that modders get in Cities: Skylines which made him give it a go in the first place.

Fr0sZ has said he will be focusing fully on this mod, so it’s likely we can see some more improvements on it soon. We will be sure to keep a close eye on the development of this Cities: Skylines mod, so make sure to check our site, or:
